CROSS BORDER DEFENSEMAN SCHOOL - FALL/WINTER 2009-10
For Rep and Advanced House League boys and girls aged 7 - 13. Head Instructor Nick Smith (former NHLer, Florida Panthers) will run 8-week Sessions. Every other Monday at 5pm, at the Wave Sports Centre. Players are grouped in ages 7-10 and 11-13 (and according to skill level). We train defensemen with game-type situations. Learn Gap control, D-Zone coverage, Footwork (Agility/Mobility), Point shooting, Breakout options, Backwards/linear skating techniques, and Puck retrieval. (WAVE HOCKEY) ELITE REP DEFENSEMAN CLINIC - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
This advanced-level program incorporates both Boys & Girls. We have a low instructor-to-student ratio and players are grouped according to skill level. We train defensemen with game-type situations on our NHL-sized ice surfaces. For ages 8 - 13. Head Instructor Nick Smith (former NHLer, Florida Panthers) will run 10 and 9-week Sessions.
