Wave Hockey Leagues

Wave Hockey offers leagues for Men and Women, Boys and Girls of all ages and skill levels. Remember that you can join a program part-way through and we'll prorate the price for you. Take a look at the following programs:

WAVE 3on3 YOUTH SUMMER HOCKEY LEAGUES - 2010
The 7th season of our highly-successful FULL ICE 3on3 hockey leagues. This year, we offer 2 more games than last season, with the option of joining our standard weekend-game league (Rep and House League players, 14 games incl. playoffs, May 7 - August 21), or our Cottage League with games on weeknights (House League players only, 12 games incl. playoffs, April 5 - late June). Weekend League games are played Fridays through Sundays, with no long weekends in July or August. Consistent game days week to week. Last season featured an incredible 150+ teams and 1600+ players! Divisions offered from Tyke through Midget. Adult certified officials for all games. A zero-tolerance policy is enforced to ensure our players' safety. 3on3 hockey features more ice time, puck handling, creativity, non-stop skating, speed and agility. Develop your skills with the best 3on3 in the GTA and Golden Horseshoe area! Stay sharp in the off-season.

(WAVE) BACKYARD HOCKEY MINI-GAMES - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
For Ages 3-7. 9 and 8-week Sessions run September through November, November through January, and February through April. Choose from Sessions held on Saturdays (2pm - 3pm at Wave Sports Centre) or Sundays (11am - 12pm at Wave Twin Rinks). All games are held on our NHL-sized rinks, and players shoot on open mini-nets (no goalies!). An extremely fun and relaxed atmsophere for everyone, with an on-ice professional hockey Head Instructor to teach shooting, passing and game situations. The League is sponsored by the Burlington Cougars Jr. A Hockey Club. Benefits include one Child's 2010-11 Season Pass with your registration, your team will play a game during a Cougars intermission and tour the Cougars room and get autographs! Includes a cool Backyard Hockey Jersey included (with Cougars logo).

WAVE HOCKEY ORIGINAL SIX HOUSE LEAGUE (Full Ice 5on5) - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
The return of the most unique House League program in Burlington! Wave Hockey presents the pinnacle of House League hockey, complete with the BEST professional on-ice development, dry-land training, and conditioning programs. We offer everything that your player needs to progress well beyond their current abilities. New features this season include THE LONGEST GAME TIMES IN BURLINGTON, with NO CURFEWS! Periods will be 10x10x12. New higher-quality jerseys with full colour sublimated patches! Team Coaches in our program will be carefully chosen to ensure that our mission statement is met. For Tyke through Bantam players. 2005-born players will also be accepted (the League to approve). Each team has 15 skaters and 1 goalie. This means that we will have LIMITED SPACE and that we will sell out quickly! The 2010-11 season runs from September through March. An unbeatable value!

WAVE HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY LEAGUE (Full Ice 5on5) - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
Our third season is for all players currently attending High School. The season runs from September 2010 through March 2011. 26 Sunday afternoon and evening games guaranteed, including playoffs. All games are played on the Wave Twin Rinks' 2 NHL-sized ice pads. Online stats and schedules. Sign up with your buddies as a team, or as an individual.

WAVE CO-ED ADULT ROOKIE LEAGUE - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
Have you always wanted to play hockey? Hit the ice with fellow beginners in this non-competitive, non-contact, social league. We are perfect for beginner and advanced rookies. Friday night games running from late September through April. 26 games guaranteed. Great exercise! Enjoy a cold drink at our licensed restaurant overlooking the ice pads! Registration begins May 1! WAVE ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE (WAHL) - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
26 games guaranteed (including playoffs) in the flagship Wave Hockey program. Season runs from early-September through late March 2011. A/B/C/D, Rec, & 35+ divisions are offered on Monday through Thursday and Weekends. NEW THIS YEAR: 2 Saturday Night "Team Appreciation" games for Tues/Wed/Thurs leagues. All teams play 2 Saturday aft/night games during the season. All teams will receive 1 free pitcher or 1 free pizza, and team specials/prizes for coming up with their team to Top Shelf Sports Bar (located at Wave Sports Centre). WAVE WOMENS HOCKEY LEAGUE (WWHL) - FALL/WINTER 2010-11
26 prime time games during the season, which runs from early-mid September 2010 through late March 2011.
